Welcome to Young Harris Main Street! Whether you are a resident or visiting The Enchanted Valley, we are glad to see you here. Main Street Young Harris is new to the GA Main Street program, having its first board meeting in August 2023. The purpose of Main Street is to help build strong, vibrant communities. The Mission of Main Street Young Harris is to bring life and unity to the community and downtown through economic development, design, and promotion, while preserving the area’s beauty and history. As the board moves through its initial set up, they will be sharing specific strategies that will support Main Street and its businesses. Main Street Young Harris meets the third Tuesday of each month, 6:30 pm, at City Hall, with the exception of November and December.

The Vision of Main Street Young Harris is to create vibrant and engaging community spaces working symbiotically with local owned businesses to promote the area’s history and natural beauty.

Each month, the Main Street Director puts out a newsletter about the City, events, and relevant articles. See the most recent newsletter below, and follow the City of Young Harris on FB for monthly updates. If you are interested in joining the Main Street Board, review the Application for Nomination to the Main Street Board below.
